Nicolas Graves Garcia is a 2022 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 187 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Ridge. Large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and some present strength to frame, additional room to fill out moving forward. Ran an 8.41 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, longer actions moving to and through the ball, glove plays well at the forehand, extra step moving through release, arm strength plays across the diamond with carry to first base. Also pitched, quick pace to delivery, works with a short and quick arm action through the back up to a three-quarters release point. Works to both sides of the plate with fastball, topped out at 82 mph and shows running life to arm side. Maintained velocity, gets tall at finish at times, mixed a short slider up to 70 mph which showed well when thrown with conviction. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even base and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Limited shift through lower half, best contact when working on a linear path through the zone, physical strength plays when barreled, worked to pull side with comfort. Very good student.
