Ethan Lail is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Medium and lean frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.40 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the baseball to the side in the outfield and works through it well, shuffles into his release, ball comes out cleanly from a high 3/4 arm slot up to 85 mph during drills. Secondary righthanded pitcher, quick and compact delivery with a loose arm action up to a low 3/4 arm slot, fastball gets good sinking action to it, shows athleticism to his delivery with upside if he focused as a primary arm. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow and upright stance, loads hand deep, generates good bat speed and a feel for the barrel, flashed pop to the pull side especially including a home run during his batting practice round, will continue to add power as he fills out physically. Good student. Named to 2019 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
