Jacob Mabie is a 2023 1B/RHP, C, 3B with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Physical upside, solid build plays the part at 1B. Moves well around and off the bag, clean glove work plays under the ball and sees it deep with a quick catch and release. Playable arm strength as well with more to engage. RIght-handed pitcher topped out at 84, fastball flashes some life and filled the zone mixing a developing breaking ball with command. Simple operation has a clean delivery and good sync in the actions and fluid 3/4 arm slot. Left-handed hitter, raw power projects. A lot of strength in the swing with impact when he finds the barrel. Good student.
