Treyton Randall is a 2019 1B/RHP with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Lincoln, NE who attends Lincoln Southeast HS. Big and burly athletic build. Right handed hitter, spread open stance, gets to his front side early and tends to loose his lower half drive and strength, strong upper half generates bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel when squared, power approach, would benefit from a better shift and balance into contact. Showed good footwork on defense at first base and soft hands, makes accurate throws and has clean actions. Also has potential on the mound, well paced delivery with a 3/4's to mid-3/4's arm slot, stays balanced and directional well, low effort release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, gets nice running action on his fastball and throws strikes with it. Tends to lower arm slot and release on his curveball and get under it. Change up had good sinking action. Has a good chance to throw harder over the next few years with solid command and mechanics and become a primary pitcher. Good student.
