Jackson Morgan is a 2023 SS/C, OF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes short steps moving towards the ball, can quicken footwork through the ball, fields it out front, repeats actions through the ball and shows some accuracy when on top, arm strength will continue to develop on throws, Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Contact oriented approach, gets downward with path at times, shows comfort working to pull side with occasional lift when on time. Shows a feel for the barrel, bat speed projects as he continues to add physical strength. Very good student.
