Jeremy Jang is a 2019 C/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Cupertino, CA who attends Cupertino. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional size and strength. Primary catcher with a low, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouch with smooth paced footwork. Worked through exchange with efficient actions. Released from a taller front side position and three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated accurate carry to the bag at 73 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.02. Right handed hitter with a crouched, spread stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays balanced throughout with rotational lower half actions. Inside hand path to baseball and employed a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Consistently worked to the middle of the field but flashed the hand speed to turn the barrel to contact and work to pull side as well. Very good student.
