Bock is a 5-11 right handed hitting outfielder from New York with a projectable athletic body. He ran the 60 in 7.29 and had 76 mph velocity on his throws from the outfield. Bock showed surprising power at the plate for a 150 lb player when he was able to get the bat head out to the ball. He has some aluminum sweep in his swing, which is never surprising on a young player, and got jammed a couple of times. But when Bock got his hands through, he showed pop to the middle of the field and launched one ball well over the centerfielder’s head in a game. Some refinements to his swing and some more strength and Bock could develop into a nice hitter. He has a young birthday for a junior and a young body and should continue to develop. Bock is a good student.
