Hayden Kinney is a 2016 1B/P, OF with a 6-1 177 lb. frame from Chico, CA who attends Pleasant Valley. Kinney has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he showed developing footwork around the bag at 1B with developing defensive actions. He has a raw arm action with developing arm strength up to 69 MPH. At the plate, Kinney starts with a crouched stance with the bat resting on his shoulder. He lifts his hands back and up at load and throws the barrel to the baseball. He has pretty good rhythm to his swing and has a higher finish. Kinney showed some barrel skills with developing pop. Very good student.
