Clay Billadeau is a 2020 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Metea Valley HS. Strong stocky build. Uses a higher side saddle start with good footwork gaining ground from behind the plate well. Displayed good hands with quick transfers and a longer pull back to throw with developing arm strength topping out at 73 miles per hour and posting a 2.06 second pop time. Right handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance loaded onto the back side with a big leg lift into weight shift. Employs a rotational compact swing with quick hands creating barrel whip and bat speed. Showed occasional gap to gap power during batting practice. Good barrel control with consistent solid contact to all parts of the field. Tremendous student.
