Hudson Rowan is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Panama City, FL who attends A. Crawford Mosley HS. Medium frame with length to the limbs and lots of room to add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. High leg lift up past the belt with a full arm path. Throws exclusively from the stretch with a shorter arm action through the back. Over the top arm slot with a shorter stride and lands closed off. Subtle fastball life and topped out at 86 mph, topping higher in the past. Creates some extension out in front and clears his front side well. Breaking ball with 1/7 shape and big depth while he slows on the changeup. Three pitch mix and fastball command along with deception allows stuff to play up. Great student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
