Stevan Fairburn is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Northridge. Large frame with strong, sturdy present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, short rocker step back into leg-lift windup, stands tall on backside and creates good deception in delivery. Strides toward LH batters box and creates crossfire, shows loose and easy arm action, throws from extended low three quarters arm slot. Fastball worked 80-84 MPH with good riding life on the pitch. Showed curveball with sweeping shape and good sharpness. Hits from open stance with legitimate power in swing, has HR power to the pull field, showed good carry and overall jump to the opposite field as well. Consistently drove the baseball when on time. Worked out at first base, fields cleanly out front and shows athleticism through footwork, made accurate throws to 2B and 3B with consistency. Outstanding student.
