Wills Clemente is a 2007 RHP/1B from Highlands Christian Academy in Pompano Beach, FL, with a 6'5'', 230 lb. frame. He has a mature body with present strength and durability. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a high leg kick which leads to a drop and drive delivery. Clemente has a short arm circle on the back side that produces good arm speed. His fastball topped out at 87 mph and he throws down hill well. He mixes in a 10 to 4 curveball at 76 mph big break and depth. Clemente rounds out his repertoire with a 75 mph change up with good movement and he maintains his arm speed on the pitch. He has present arm strength, and we project that he will throw harder in the future and be a 90 mph guy. Clemente has upside on the mound and needs to be followed. He is a very good student as well.
