Dominick Hayes is a 2007 OF/P with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Freehold NJ, who attends Colts Neck. Hayes has a medium sized frame with a slender body. He has good core body strength. Defensively, Hayes has a good arm from the outfield with carry on his throws. He made consistent online throws and threw well from the outfield in games. He throws with a short arm action and has a fast arm. Hayes moves to the ball well and has good defensive actions. At the plate, Hayes starts from a wide stance and swings from a crouch. He uses a rotational approach to hitting and has bat speed. He has some length to his swing and he has quick hands. Hayes pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. His arm works and he uses a high leg kick. He uses a tall and fall type delivery and pitches with low effort. He gets armside run on his fastball and 1/7 big break on his curveball.
