Kameron Evans is a 2019 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kernersville, NC who attends East Forsyth. Medium frame with strong present build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Keeps barrel on plane and in hitting zone well, inconsistent lower half shift, whippy bat speed, shows very good barrel skills and hands, projects for very good power. Worked out in the infield, swivels hips well and comes in on the ball, hands work well, transfer is clean, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Looked good on the mound, compact arm stroke with deceptive mechanical profile, fastball worked 80-83 mph with some sink to the pitch, excellent changeup tunneled well out of hand with late dive, showed some bite to slider as well. Named to 2018 Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
