Elijah Olacio is a 2019 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Auburn, MA who attends Marianapolis Prep. Medium and athletic frame with plenty more room to fill. Ran a 6.88 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, sits back on the baseball reading hops well, clean funnel into his body with solid hands, smooth overall actions that play the baseball cleanly, showcased the ability to throw from multiple arm angles with average arm strength, topped out at 80 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, narrow based slightly open stance with a high hand set to start, shifts some weight into his swing, line drive swing plane looking to lift the baseball, worked to all fields with some gap to gap ability. Good student.
