Angel Gabriel Jimenez is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, SD who attends Florida Air Academy. Large frame with athletic look; good strength and physicality. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance, big leg lift trigger, creates separation in hips/hands, hands work well through swing with good bat speed, gets ball into the air with authority and good jump off the barrel. Has HR power. Worked out in the outfield, good athletic movements to and through the ball, fields cleanly and maintains momentum, arm works well through release, clocked up to 83 mph on throws. Very good student.
