Cade Doughty is a 2019 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Denham Springs, LA who attends Denham Springs HS. Strong athletic build. 6.65 runner, very smooth defensive player, hands work very well out front, moves very well for his size and physicality, arm strength plays up in games and has been up to 91 on the mound, type of player and athlete who can probably play every position on the field well. Right handed hitter, quiet set up with a short and compact swing, very good barrel skills, has present bat speed, gap to gap approach, will be adept at situational hitting with a high average approach. Ben Zobrist type player with a high floor as a prospect. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State. Selected to play in the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
