Connor Jackson is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Prosper HS. Has a young build with room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.31 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed developing actions and footwork, arm strength was as high as 78 mph. At the plate, from the right side, starts with a slightly open stance and a deeper hand load. Stays short to the baseball and looks to have lift through the point of contact to all fields. From the left side, has a strong base and higher hand set. Swings on a line drive swing plane with good pop off the barrel. On the mound, throws from an over the top arm slot with a long arm circle through the back. Stays online in delivery and has downhill plane. Fastball has running and sinking action, curveball has solid depth. Showed solid command and repeats his mechanics well. Great student.
