Tommy Clark is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Framingham, MA who attends Framingham. Large frame with long limbs and present strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to leg lift delivery. Stays balanced on back side and utilized lower half well while driving the the plate. Compact arm action while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Fastball showed heavy life through the zone with run to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Commands fastball offering well and consistently spotted up to each edge of the plate. Curveball had tight spin with sharp, late bite in the mid 70's. Maintained arm speed with breaking ball creating good deception at released. Utilized an aggressive approach and challenge hitters with both pitches throughout each inning of work. Also worked out defensively from first base showing deliberate footwork while centering the baseball. Funnels the baseball out front with two hands and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Long arm action at release topping at 78 miles per hour to the bag. Right handed hitter with a spread stance and simple leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact well with lower half. Consistently threw bat head through the zone with authority and generated very hard loud contact to the pull side gap when squared. Named to the 2017 Northeast Underclass Showcase, Top Prospect List.
