Roberto Flores is a 2016 1B with a 6-0 218 lb. frame from Salida, CA who attends Joseph A. Gregori HS. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, has sound hitting mechanics, stays back well and hits the ball deep in the zone, has the strength to pull and lift the ball, has bat speed and a good sound off the bat when he squares it up. Swung hard in batting practice and drove the ball but seemed more hesitant in games, needs to be aggressive and let the barrel fly and use his power. Has good hands at first base.
