Corey "CJ" Gordon is a 2021 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 151 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Marietta. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from the stretch, higher lift, length to arm stroke through the back, hides it well, lands online, overtop slot, fastball worked 75-80 mph, shows feel for curveball with good depth, also flashed a changeup. Hits from upright stance with even base, hanging leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane, contact-oriented approach. Worked out in the infield, quick first step, clean funnel, clocked up to 83 mph on throws. Excellent student.
