Sebastian Cerda is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson HS. Medium frame with strength to build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.70 seconds. Primary pitcher, rocker step back with big leg lift, multi-pieced delivery, simple arm stroke, high three quarters slot, low effort delivery overall, fastball worked 74-77 mph and does a good job changing eye levels with pitch. Showed curveball with slurvy action and some sharpness. Consistently worked to the bottom of the zone effectively. Hits from bent knee stance, crouches into swing, middle-opposite field approach, shows line drive plane with some contact skills. Worked out in the outfield, fields rigidly out front with two hands, shows some arm strength, gets on top of throws, clocked up to 79 mph. Good student.
