Vincenzo Carnazzo is a 2020 1B/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends The Heritage HS. Broad shouldered big build for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, upper half rotational swing, keeps his hands tight and inside coming through, mechanical approach, handles the barrel well, primarily opposite to mid field contact, could develop power as he gets stronger with swing adjustments to get the barrel out and extended through contact. Tall and fall delivery on the mound, low effort mechanics and release, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery well. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly straight, challenges hitters in the strike zone and gets them to swing the bat. Slow curveball with a sweeping break. Good student.
