Carson Borland is a 2022 C/ with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Leland, NC who attends North Brunswick. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with quiet set, hands work well through swing, hits off of stationary lower half, strength in swing is evident, can impact the ball pull-side, hands create good bat speed, showed ability to drive the ball when square. Worked out behind the plate, stands straight up out of crouch, has quickness to footwork, clean transfer, gains ground, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Very good student.
