Blake Rodgers is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-11 212 lb. frame from Ringgold, GA who attends Gordon Lee. He ran a 7.98 second sixty. A primary first baseman with a medium stocky build. At first he showed some feel for the glove with solid actions and the hands working nicely out front, he made accurate throws on his double play feeds with developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance, he creates torque int eh swing with a coil into his load, he showed the ability to impact the ball to the pull side and will find the barrel more consistent with better timing with in the swing. Excellent student.
