Joe O'Connor is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from West Grove, PA who attends Avon Grove. Medium build with some young strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand load, loose and extended swing with some uphill plane to it, flashed some power to the left centerfield gap, raw bat speed will continue to develop with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.89 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a quick exchange and release on his throws, shifts quickly but can get more directional in his footwork, lower arm slot can be raised in the future. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery with a compact catcher's arm action, rotational upper body delivery. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, tended to lower his elbow on a soft curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
