Ryan Gault is a 2016 2B/3B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Los Gatos. Medium, athletic frame with solid present build and good room for additional growth. Ran very well, posting a 6.69 second 60-yard dash time. Hits from squared stance with aggressive and sound overall approach to hitting. Shifts weight well into contact once lower half fires, opposite-field approach with consistent contact skills. Shows some jump off the barrel with projectable power. Moves well to the ball in the infield with quick feet and solid overall footwork. Fields cleanly with two hands, gathers quickly and makes quick release with clean arm action over to 1B. Throws were very accurate with easy release, topping at 71 MPH. Very good student.
