2017 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Andrew Walker is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Chapel Hill. Medium build, lean and athletic frame, squared shoulders with present strength and more room to fill. Ran an event best 6.45 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball with good routes to the ball, good footwork to the ball and through throws, carries weight through release, good carry on throws with solid arm strength, topped out at 85 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, narrow base with knees bent inward, slightly crouched and slightly open stance, low hand set, small leg lift trigger, inside hand path, short and compact swing, line drive barrel plane, showed some feel for the barrel, overall good looking prospect who can run really well. Excellent student. Named to PG Fall Top Prospect National Top Prospect List.
