Drayven Kowalski is a 2018 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Yardville, NJ who attends Hamilton East-Steinert HS. Has a solid frame and an athletic build. Posted a 7.71 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, makes accurate throws down to second base with quick arm action, balls would carry. At the plate, when at the right side, starts with a high hand set, high back elbow, and toe tap trigger, fuller swing path with incorporation of lower half rotation. From the left side, flashes hand speed and looks to get on line drive swing plane. Ball comes off the barrel when hitting the baseball out front generating barrel whip. On the mound, throws from a high, three-quarters arm slot with a short arm circle through the back. Stays online through delivery with natural cutting action on fastball. Good student.
