Keaton Winn is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Ollie, IA who attends Pekin Community. Large frame, present strength. Projects for additonal size with strength. Right handed pitcher with a balanced, leg lift delivery. Shows a compact arm action at seperation with a three-quarters arm slot at release. Repeats mechanics well while producing good arm extension out front at release and creates solid downhill plane. Fastball jumps out of hand cleanly with some sinking action in the upper 80's to low 90's, topped at 91 mph. Good feel for a 11/5 curveball with late, sharp break. Shows to ability to throw the curveball for strikes or bury for a swing a miss. Also showed a straight change up with downhill plane and sink at 80 mph. Change up shows same actions and arm speed as the fastball. Commands both edges of the plate producing many swings and misses as well as soft contact. Projects for additional velocity with slight mechanical refinement and maturity. Very good student as well. Committed to Iowa Western Community College. Named to 2016 Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
