Brad Dydalewicz is a 2008 LHP with a 6'1'', 177 lb. frame from Spicewood, TX who attends Lake Travis HS. He has a medium frame with some present strength. Dydalewicz has a complicated delivery with a high leg kick and lots of moving parts that create deception. It also creates a delivery that is hard to repeat but Dydalewicz does this pretty well. One thing that has always been noteworthy about his delivery is that he uses very little front side but creates a lot of velocity, up to 93 mph in Cincinnati and never under 90. It will be interesting to see what pitching coaches at the next level want to do with that. Dydalewicz's fastball has plus velocity for a left hander but it also has plus movement, as his mid to low 3/4's release point gives it plenty of running action. Dydalewicz's breaking ball is a mid 70's slurve with a big sweeping break to it that compliments his fastball well. He looks like a very, very difficult pitcher to hit off of, especially for left handed hitters.
