LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Joseph Tomonto is a 2023 C/SS, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends American Heritage. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.86 seconds. Hits from even and in-line stance, toe tap trigger, deep hand load that gets going late at times, tight turns with barrel, strength is obvious, drove liners into both gaps, potentially impactful bat in the power department. Primary catcher, high set up, rises into reception, twitchy athleticism evident behind the plate, quick transfer, clocked up to 80 mph on throws down to 2nd base. Also took outfield reps, showed the athleticism and big arm strength, clocked up to 92 mph. Very good student, named to 2022 WWBA Workout Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
