Eric Mingus is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Centennial, CO who attends Grandview HS. Slender young build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, open stance, leg raise trigger, front foot is late getting down frequently, short swing, stays inside the ball and looks to hit it to the opposite field, contact approach, has some hand quickness and the ball comes off the barrel well. 7.28 runner, good footwork and athletic actions in the infield, moves well and has range, stays balanced and under control, accurate throws, good transfer/exchange and has a clean arm action. Good student.
