Victor Guerra is a 2007 SS/2B/P with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Cooper City FL, who attends Cooper City HS. He has a lean, angular infielder's build with long arms and legs. Guerra is a glider on defense who moves through balls well and has a quick release. Offensively, Guerra has that same type of glide approach, drifing into his trigger and sometimes getting the bat started late. He spins off early on the ball and showed the ability lift the inside pitch both in BP and during the games. He's just looking to make contact on pitches from the middle out and would benefit from more strength to help drive the inside pitches, although he did get everyone's attention when he hit one off the left field fence in one game. Guerrar also pitched a bit, touching 79 mph with his fastball and throwing a 63 mph curveball. He's a good student off the field.
