Joe McLaughlin is a 2019 OF/SS with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton HS. Outstanding athletic build with lots of physical projection. Excellent run and throw tools, 6.57 in the sixty, moves well in the outfield with athletic actions, compact arm action with very good arm strength, makes on line accurate throws. Right handed hitter, very compact swing with tight hands through the zone, has quickness in his hands and creates bat speed, middle of the field to opposite field approach, has the tools there to open up his swing. Verbal commitment to Oregon State.
