John Flowers is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Very athletic high waisted build, young look, projects well physically. 6.75 runner, very good arm strength from the outfield, has good footwork and is quick and fluid through the ball, quick release with very good accuracy, high level defensive tools. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a small shift into contact, loose swing, hits gap to gap and hits under control, projectable swing with additional strength. Also pitched, young mechanics but lots of arm strength, cross body delivery with a 3/4's arm slot, fastball was up to 90 mph, mostly straight. Curveball was his best pitch with a sweeping 10/4 shape and lots of spin and depth. Very interesting young athlete who is going to keep getting better. Follow closely.
