Lamar Sparks is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Slender square shouldered build, very projectable physically. 6.65 runner, athletic actions in the outfield with good range and footwork to the ball, long and loose arm action, raw arm strength still developing, tends to throw uphill. Right handed hitter, very spread stance with a busy hand load, some back side collapse on his swing, short hand path to the ball and gets some barrel whip at contact. Key in his development in all respects will be getting stronger.
