Elijah Bear is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek HS. Thick build with the makings of some present strength. Simple low effort delivery mechanics with a short and compact arm action, does not get any drive and momentum from his lower half and would immediately gain velocity with more lower half use. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight. Soft curveball with a smaller break, firm change up showed some feel. Threw strikes and competed well. 8.34 runner, had soft hands at first base.
