Fernando Garcia is a 2014 OF/2B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Arlington Country Day HS. Very athletic build with looseness and present strength. Outstanding runner, 6.55 in the sixty, charges hard and is very aggressive to the ball in the outfield, plus range potential, good arm strength with low on line throws, can improve footwork throwing. Right handed hitter, big wrapped start to swing creates length, good bat speed with strength at contact, gets arms extended, best contact to right centerfield, has hitting tools to develop with adjustments and experience. Very toolsy player who is aggressive and plays hard. Good student.
