Baley Castro is a 2015 2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake High School. Medium frame, slender athletic build with room to fill. Solid contact-oriented offensive approach, short line drive swing, balanced swing, compact swing mechanics, quiet load, cuts off finish, showed ability to use all fields with quick hands. Quick release time on throws from middle infield, accurate throws, good lateral agility, good first step while ranging to left, quick feet, hands work well, clean transfer on throws, solid defensive tools to develop into a second base prospect for the next level.
