David DeGenaro is a 2016 3B/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Sebring, FL who attends Sebring HS. Extra-large, lean frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Primary third baseman, shows a smooth release on throws across, stands tall to throw, shows nice actions to the ball, projects well and shows an easy arm across. Also pitched from an extended three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. High leg lift with slight hip turn at top, tilts shoulders and generates downhill plane on fastball that topped 80 mph. Mixes well, knuckleball shows late dive and tumble actions along with an 11-5 curveball with short break. Works low in zone with all. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly crouched stance and a high hand set. Longer, upper body swing, shifts weight through swing well, line drive swing plane with contact to middle and pull side. Sound approach at the plate. Outstanding student.
