Blake Perkins is a 2015 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Litchfield Park, AZ who attends Verrado HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build, wide shoulders, present loose strength with more to come. Performed well in every phase, posted impressive 6.76 60-yard dash time on slow track in cold damp conditions. Raked in game at-bats, impressed in BP. Good balance to swing, calm approach, line drive plane, good bat speed, good bat-to ball ability, advanced in-game approach with ability to utilize quality hitting tools. Arm works well in the outfield, good carry on throws, moves well, athletic actions. Very good student, named to the National Underclass Session 1 top prospect team. Verbal commitment to Arizona State.
