Brian Brown is a 2016 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Safety Harbor, FL who attends Countryside. Extra tall, ideal pitcher's frame and has outstanding projection. Good athlete. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. Right-handed thrower, works from an over the top arm slot and has a short, low effort, repeatable arm action. Has an excellent tempo and stays consistently online with his delivery. Pitches downhill and uses his height. Stays balanced and works at 86-89 mph with his fastball. Much more velocity on the way. Gets good arm side running action. Also mixes a hard, late breaking 11-5 curveball at 73 mph. Flashes a 73 mph changeup as well. Potential to be a three pitch pitcher with command. Outstanding potential. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
