Drew Parrish is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rockledge, FL who attends Rockledge HS. Medium athletic build, has some physical projection left. Slow paced delivery with an extended high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery mechanics well. Fastball up to 88 mph, has been up to 90 at other times this summer, pounded the bottom of the zone consistently this outing, gets good angle and lots of downhill plane. Big breaking 1/7 curveball with lots of spin and depth, locates his curveball well. Flashed a nice fading change up that can develop into a very good third pitch. Impressive when commanding his stuff as he did this outing. Very good athlete who has shown two-way potential in the outfield, 6.94 runner. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
