Max Guest is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Slender build, plenty of room to get stronger. Side step/rock back delivery, high 3/4's arm slot with some backwards lean, comes inside the ball on release. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional running action, throws mostly to arm side due to delivery mechanics. Soft downer curveball with some depth, flashed a shorter slider late with some bite. Tends to slow arm on change up. Worked quickly and threw strikes and tried to mix his pitches. Would benefit from a lower release point. Good student.
