Hunter Dawson is a 2014 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Spain Park. Has a large projectable frame with a strong build. Is a big target to throw to at first base which helps save errors. Has a good glove with soft hands and moves well around the bag with good footwork. Has a leg raise back turn delivery while pitching from a 3/4 arm slot with a high arm circle. Is around the plate with his pitches, slider has bite to it and mixes in his changeup. Has an open stance at the plate with lift in his swing. Is short to the ball with gap pop. Is an outstanding student.
