Samuel Pastrone is a 2015 RHP/3B, 2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Medium frame, well proportioned athletic build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long loose arm action. Fast arm and good momentum towards the plate with a long online stride, maintains body control well through delivery with good extension out front and creating some downhill plane to his pitches. Moving parts to delivery create deception for hitter, while difficult to control he managed to do a good job of doing so. Quality four pitch mix, showed ability to impart hard spin on multiple breaking balls and also showed solid mid 70s changeup. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
