Brendan Gordon is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Moraga, CA who attends Campolindo HS. Nice athletic build, good present strength and size. Slow paced delivery with some drive to the plate, good lower half path to the plate but his upper body will get off line at times, tight 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Sweeping curveball with some spin and occasional biting action, shows good feel for manipulating shape and velocity on the pitch for different looks, throws strikes with both pitches. Left handed hitter, showed some strength in his swing when pulling the ball, long extended follow through from a wide stance, can contribute at the plate. Good student.
