Daniel Davanzo is a 2015 RHP/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Westlake. Medium, athletic frame with some projection. Right handed pitcher who works from a three-quarter arm slot with a long, loose arm action in back. Works downhill with minimal effort and gets extension out front. Fastball shows run and sink to arm side, topping out at 82 mph, working 80-82 mph. Curveball shows 11/5 break with depth and tight spin. Threw changeup at 74 mph with occasional run, good pitch. Has the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes and has strong, present pitchability. Good student.
