Billy Cummings is a 2015 1B/C with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Alpine, CA who attends Granite Hills. Tall athletic build with present strength. Short to the ball with a slight uppercut swing plane and good extension through contact. Creates lift with swing plane, good bat speed and strength, flashes power, pull approach but also showed good use of the middle of the field. Good defensive 1B who gives his infielders a big target to throw to, good fielding actions and accurate throws. Good student.
